Ashleigh's Story
Where Our Member Started
When Ashleigh first connected with us, she was a mother of four navigating the profound challenges of addiction and schizophrenia. Her children were involved with Child Protective Services, and her family’s stability hung in the balance. But Ashleigh was determined. With immense strength and resilience, she committed to her recovery and began laying the foundation for a safe, nurturing home.
How Heritage Helped
Through her partnership with Heritage Health Network, Ashleigh received more than services—she received support, encouragement, and trust. We provided behavioral health care, consistent counseling, and ensured the children’s medical needs were met. Slowly but steadily, the home she rebuilt became a haven—and her children were safely returned to her care.
But Heritage’s work did not stop there.
After a devastating car accident, Anthony’s life changed dramatically. He turned to Heritage Health Network for Enhanced Care Management, and although his recovery was challenged by complications and repeat hospitalizations, the tide has shifted. With the support of In-Home Supportive Services and regular home-based physical therapy, Anthony is stabilizing. He’s regaining strength, independence, and most importantly, hope.

Ashleigh has recently become a foster parent, a remarkable milestone that not only speaks to her transformation but also to the power of compassion, structure, and holistic care. Her journey is a beacon of what recovery, when supported with the right tools and care, can look like.
